We are currently only accepting online drink orders in order to ensure the most safe and sanitary environment for both you and our staff. Our new ordering system will track purchases so you can earn rewards for drinks, beans and other products. We have two new transactional windows: one on the left for picking up your drink after ordering online, and one on the right for browsing our retail merchandise and packaged coffee, or to chat with a barista at at safe distance.

WEAR YOUR MASK TO PICK UP DRINKS

We require all guests to wear a mask covering your mouth and nose unless you are seated at your table. Our patio is measured to ensure tables are six feet apart and placed away from where you'll form a line to order. Our logo appears on the ground to indicate where to stand while waiting for your coffee. Help us keep our community safe and healthy!

WE'VE GOT NEW "MUGS" FOR NOW

In accordance with health department guidelines, all drinks are served in compostable cups. They will compost in a backyard compost pile, but that takes some time. They will not decompose in the trash. If you leave them with us, they will be commercially composted.

Another great way to support HG and keep your coffee mugs full at home is to order packaged coffee online. We can ship anywhere in the continental U.S. and are offering free home delivery in our local area when you choose "Doorstep Delivery" at checkout.

HIGHER GROUNDS LOCAL DELIVERY AND PICKUP SERVICE DETAILS

1. Order online at www.highergroundstrading.com
2. Select Shipping Method at checkout, or choose:
   Local option #1 - Doorstep Delivery - home delivery for zip codes 49684, 49686, 49690, 49637, 49650, 49696, 49685, or 49621 (please allow 4 business days to process)
   Local option #2 - Hold for Pickup (please allow 2 business days to process)

If picking up from our location (available 8am-3pm Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm Sat, 9am-1pm Sun):

1. When you arrive, please do not open the door.
2. Knock on the door, wave your hands, do a little dance; get the attention of the staff member in the cafe.
3. If you don’t see anyone, please call 231-922-9009.
4. Give the staff member your name, exchange smiles and please stand 6 feet back wearing your mask (continue dancing if you'd like).
5. The staff member will retrieve your order and pass it through the pickup window.
6. Head back home to enjoy a delicious cup of fresh coffee!
   
   

We appreciate our community's awareness and desire to limit exposure during these uncertain times. We will continue to be proactive and communicative, making adjustments as needed for the health and safety of everyone.
